Stephanie and Randy’s wedding weekend in Savannah was a beautiful reminder that intimacy doesn’t mean simplicity. Hosted at The Alida Hotel—with sweeping views of the Savannah River and a rooftop ceremony kissed by golden light—their celebration was full of thoughtful, heartfelt details that made their guests feel like cherished family.
From the very beginning, every part of the weekend was designed with love and intention. Guests were welcomed to the city with a curated bag of local favorites—Byrd’s cookies, pralines, and other Savannah treats—a sweet and soulful nod to the couple’s love for the place that brought them together.
As guests arrived for the rooftop ceremony, the soft sounds of a live violinist filled the air. The view alone was breathtaking, but paired with the emotion in the music and the intimate guest list, it felt like time stood still. With the Savannah River as their backdrop, Stephanie and Randy said “I do” surrounded by the people who knew them best.
Dinner was hosted under the stars, with florals that looked as if they had grown right out of the tables—lush, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. The reception was small by design, but never lacked in feeling. It felt like a dinner party in the best way: warm, immersive, and beautiful. From candlelit place settings to the gentle hum of conversation and laughter, there was a sense that this was exactly where everyone was meant to be.
To add a little unexpected magic to the evening, guests were treated to a live portrait experience. A custom floral installation—mirroring the ceremony arch—set the stage for each keepsake portrait, with flowing fabric and botanical accents that brought even more texture and beauty to the experience.
This is the kind of wedding that lingers—not just for its style, but for the feeling it leaves behind. Stephanie and Randy proved that an intimate wedding can still be richly layered, deeply personal, and full of destination-inspired moments your guests will never forget.
