Alexis and Daniel’s wedding was a heartfelt tribute to everything they love about Savannah: its timeless scenery, rich history, and vibrant culinary culture. Drawn to the city’s quiet romance, they chose to begin their day at the chapel at Bethesda Academy, where towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss created a beautiful setting for their ceremony.

After exchanging vows, guests were invited onto a charming trolley ride through the historic streets, carrying them from the peaceful grounds of Bethesda to the heart of the celebration at Common Thread, a place deeply woven into Daniel’s family story.

Housed within the historic Krouskoff House, the space carries its own romantic legacy. Built in 1897 by Soloman Krouskoff as a wedding gift for his second wife, Matilda, it felt especially fitting for Alexis and Daniel to continue that tradition of love within its walls.
Inside, guests were welcomed into an atmosphere that felt both elevated and inviting. Some gathered around cozy dining tables, others tucked into intimate booths, while a few experienced the evening from the chef’s table, watching the culinary team craft each dish with care and intention. Every detail reflected the couple’s appreciation for thoughtful hospitality and exceptional food.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration naturally flowed outdoors into the restaurant’s lush farm-to-table garden. Beneath a beautifully lit tent, guests sipped on signature cocktails, enjoyed the sounds of hybrid musicians blending styles and energy, and indulged in even more thoughtfully prepared bites. Surrounded by greenery and glowing lights, the night felt both intimate and electric; a perfect reflection of Alexis and Daniel’s love story.

From moss-draped oaks to candlelit tables and garden dancing, their wedding was a seamless blend of Savannah’s charm, family legacy, and unforgettable culinary experience.
